To: All officers of the II Corps, ANV, CSA From; Colonel Lloyd H. Cole, II Corps CO Subj: Vacancies in two Divisions and Reports 1. There is a vacancy for two Division Commanders in the II Corps. I NEED THESE SLOTS FILLED ASAP! I would like to promote from wihtin the Corps, but if no one wants the responsibility or the honor of command, then I will look elsewhere. If you think you have what it takes to be a Division CO, then please email me ( huntercole@adelphia.net ) as soon as possible. I would like to have them filled by the 28th of this month. 2. I am tired of getting my coattails chewed off by the Army commander because some of you Division Commander seem to think that you don't have to report to a mere colonel. Well, that is NOT the case and I want every one under my command to expect that there will be reprisals for not holding your brigade commanders to task. You all know that the rules of the club calls for a muster and a report of all activities of all officrs. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the club as well as loss of points and so forth. This month we will begin anew. I WANT A REPORT FROM EVERY OFFICER IN THE II CORPS NLT 15 FEB. IF I DON'T HEAR FROM YOU BY THAT TIME, I WILL SEND IN A MIA REPORT ON THAT OFFICER AND DEDUCT 10 POINTS FROM THEIR SCORE. I hope you take heed of this and comply. Colonel Lloyd H.
