Post subject:  CSA General Promotions

Gentlemen,

It is my privilege to announce two promotions in the General ranks with the Confederate Army.

Brigadier General Robert Weir is promoted to Major General.

Major General John Dragan is promoted to Lieutenant General.

Both of these officers are assigned to the Army of Alabama.

I'll by a drink here for each of these officers, then we are headed over to the Army of Alabama Tavern and Trophy Room, where I am buying drinks for the rest of the night!

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory

Congrats to both!

An especially warm Huzzah to LT General John Dragan, a sturdy and worthy opponent who has been trading turns with me continuously since we were both junior officers 2 and a half years ago...[;)]

Congrats to both fine officers. John, I don't think I've had the pleasure yet but hope to someday. Robert I'll always regret that we weren't able to continue on as a team in that match we started, along with Don Adams, at last summer's TillerCon. The Yanks were in for a whipping there... despite the fact our Game Commander advanced a critical turn before it had been fully played!!! [:(] (yes, that was me)

Cheers to both of you.
