A crisp clear March day on the lawn of the White house in Washington.

President and Mrs Lincoln are in the stands while the Army of the James marches past.

Lt. General Corbin is accompanied by General Ralph Peterson and Union army commander Jeffrey Laub as they present the Distinguished Service Medal to Lt. General Ken Counselman.

"For his many years of faithful service to both his Corps, The Army of the James and the Union Army as a whole, I present Lt. General Ken Counselman with the Distinguished Service Medal"

Much thanks Ken for all your work !!!

And now off to Willard's Hotel for drinks at the expense of the Union Army.
