The union left was folding like a cheap suit now,
small units trying to stand and fight only to be
overcome by superior firepower. Johnson saw this and
was glad.

McLaws arrival would now allow a severe push on the
hill itself. The troops had held the night thru and
now were ready to take the fight to the yankees.

What now of the left flank? Many blue-clad soldiers
marching into new positions......
