Gentlemen,

Its official, the date has been set for the second Tiller Con. It will be held May 26th - 28th, 2007 in Kansas City. I'll be getting a web page put together soon for it, but wanted to get the word out so preparations could be made.

Tickets will go on sale right away, and if you can pre-buy your tickets as early as possible it would be much appreciated, as deposits have to be paid, etc.

And note, that each attendee will go home with a free game...so while it may cost you a few bucks, you will have something to take home, besides the good memories!

Here's a few links from last years event for those who want to check them out:

General Hamilton,

Count me in! I live about 2 hours drive from KC, on I-70.

I think I'll go ask my boss for that Monday off, so I won't miss any of the fun! (That's Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, right? Or were you looking at the 2005 calendar when you posted this?)

Either way, I wouldn't miss it.

One thing to be aware of... I've never driven it directly, but I'm guessing that Wilson's Creek is maybe a 3 hour drive south (maybe a bit less). I'll need to get my schedule sorted (and permission to take vacation), but I'm hoping to hit both WC and Pea Ridge on my way home.

My wife's parents live about 40 miles north of there. I've got to figure out how to get the wife to agree to a visit but let me go to the convention while there. This could be tricky. [B)]

General McClellan,

These are definitely worth taking a little extra time for.

Prairie Grove, Arkansas would also be on your way. That wasn't as big of a battle and I believe it is only a state park (rather than a national park), but it was pretty good when I was there several years back.

Col. Karcher,

Is there any limit to the size of the room, or the number of occupants? If not, maybe we could ALL stay in your room [:D] !

In fact, instead of just sleeping quarters, maybe you could check into getting one of the large conference rooms -- we could hook up the computers there and use it for Tiller Con II! On second thought, I expect Rich already has contracts signed for that. I guess you should have spoken up sooner [:)] !

This is great news. Dates already reserved on my calendar. Let me know if I can take anything out there for you. Do you know if John Tiller will be attending #II?
