I have the GETTYSBURG Director Cut version, as part of the "Deluxe Collectors Edition" of the movie which was briefly on the market. At that time, I was heavy into the movie, and did a careful analysis of the two versions. I discovered that---despite any advertising or claims to the contrary---there is only 17 minutes of additional footage. Some of the footage very nice, and appreciated, but 17 minutes was all.
