WOW! What a fight. By pour choice of this commander, the union has suffered a minor defeat at "The Battle of Aldie". This is what I get for trying to trade shot for shot with the reb cav. Excellent use of command by Lt. Col. Baker. Unlike my self he had a well placed reserve and made efforts to flank several times. Played well Sir. Salute There will be another time[:D][:p]

Sirs,

I am happy to report that after a tough battle, Confederate forces have defeated Union forces with a major victory at the Battle of Brandy Station. The way is now clear for the invasion of the north by the Army of Northern Va. Good fight Lt. Col. Ringbloom.

Sirs,

After some light skirmishing along 14 Mile Creek it has been decided that neither side can force the issue in CV 04h_a. McClernand's Fix and an honorable draw has been agreed upon.

Colonel Lajoie! <salute>
It is with deep regret that I must stand down from the Battle Ground Chickamauga Fight for the bridges scenario as I cannot get my opponents file to play.

He & I have been struggling manfully over sereral days but unsuccessfully & I am convinced the problem lies on my end.

Being unwilling to hold up the tournament any longer or my opponent's ability to enjoy the excellent competition & experience, I most respectfully request that you remove my name & reopen the Confederate slot there while, hopefully, continuing to hold me eligible for future consideration in contests played on games I know are working.

Thank you Suh & again, please accept my deepests apologies. <salute>
