WOW! What a fight. By pour choice of this commander, the union has suffered a minor defeat at "The Battle of Aldie". This is what I get for trying to trade shot for shot with the reb cav. Excellent use of command by Lt. Col. Baker. Unlike my self he had a well placed reserve and made efforts to flank several times. Played well Sir. Salute There will be another time[:D][:p] LTC. Colonel Lajoie! <salute> It is with deep regret that I must stand down from the Battle Ground Chickamauga Fight for the bridges scenario as I cannot get my opponents file to play. He & I have been struggling manfully over sereral days but unsuccessfully & I am convinced the problem lies on my end. Being unwilling to hold up the tournament any longer or my opponent's ability to enjoy the excellent competition & experience, I most respectfully request that you remove my name & reopen the Confederate slot there while, hopefully, continuing to hold me eligible for future consideration in contests played on games I know are working. Thank you Suh & again, please accept my deepests apologies. <salute>
Major General Tom Phillips The Brus Artillery Btn 4/3/III/AoG Confederate States of America
|
