Post subject: Need for Combat

Dear Fellow Members:

I have just returned from extended leave and need to dunk my toes back into some war.

I would like to play some short games (less than 15 turns, with a small number of units).

If you are willing to help me back into the art of war please let me know.

I have not played since December of 2005 so please be kind. After all 'I depend on the kindness of strangers.'

Sorry:
Should have said that I have all the BG games but have not gotten into the HPS games yet.

There are several exceedinly fine small, short, quick-playing gems in HPS Gettysburg, 4, 5, 6 & 7 Turns.
Opening Fight, Oak Hill Barlow & Early, Devil's Den, The Wheatfield...
Perhaps better suited to Mirrors, yet...

Major General Phillips:

Sir, I must send my regrets. I do not have the HPS games at this time. I will have to stay with the BG's, of which I have them all, for a while longer.

My sincere apologies.

No Apologies needed, Comrade.
If you're ever in need of a match, I can always squeeze one in
& have both the BG series & HPS.
Either way, very best of luck Major White. <salute>
