Hey Rebs...

I usually get turns back right away...
and am not getting enough back... so, NEW GAMES!!!

I have Atlanta, Corinth, Getty, Peninsula, Chickamauga...

Pick your poison...

I usually play with all options but the top three on left... and some form of embedded melee... or the new end of turn melee...

I'm having the same problem with my opponents not only getting slow but just plain disappearing. We've either got them Rebs whipped or its approaching Sadie Hawkins Day Down South so they're all hiding. Now I know that I'm supposed to root for their whipping but I prefer it to be Sadie Hawkins Day 'cause fightin' them smelly, shoeless, dung breath Rebs can be a whole lot of fun.

Howdy Yank,

I'd be happy to oblige you in Corinth, Peninsula and Chickamauga all at the same time just as soon as my Bde assignment is confirmed. I just recently graduated from VMI and look forward to having a lot of fun. I don't have Atlanta and Gettysburg yet, Gettysburg will be my next purchase tho probably in a month.

My apologies, I'm just getting used to some standards and forgot my name. My email is markvacc@yahoo.com. I was serious about all 3. I almost always know ahead of time if I will be absent for a time and will let you know also. It's rare for me to be absent tho. Drop me a line if interested.

Well Generals Simms Suh,

You got the easy part done, "all talk". So if money talks, and bulls#%t walks are you talking or walking [:D]

My dear Gen Simms...

It seems to me that Gen Bastiani is challenging you to a "duel"... or a game...

Zzzzz! What! Somebody's talking to me? General Bastiani, is Sadie Hawkins Day over with? Not from the looks of my e-mail box. I've still got some HPS series that I've never played yet - namely Franklin, Chickamauga, and Ozark - and I play with all options on, so I'm walking (and talking) and if you are, then pick your poison. I can play campaign or battle.

Ah General Simms Suh,

I see that you've awaken from your drunk slumber [:D]. I haven't played Corinth and or Chickamauga in awhile. I 'll play either battle or campaign except the only option I don't use is MDF, if that's ok with your liking [8D]. So start your walking on down to Andersonville.

Chickamauga sounds good BUT the only way that I play with MDF off is with the new Optional Melee rule included in the new Antietam disk. Otherwise, I play with all options on. (I sent an earlier response thru the forum e-mail feature which you apparently didn't get) Gen Mallory talked me into a Corinth Campaign with MDF off and I'll handle it but it doesn't favor my 'good' side. I won't do another one. So we may just have to shake hands and share a drink.

You know, you went through New Zealand way too soon. Shania Twain wasn't living there way back then and I hear that she's becoming available again! I would go down there and make her swoon myself but my wife wouldn't like it so I guess that its up to you.

General Simms,

Your rider must of got lost looking for Ms. Twain [:D] or was that you. Anyway I've dispatched a rider to your HQ with the first turn. Please don't shoot he is just the messenger [:D] It is in Chickamauga at Missionary Ridge. All options on except ADF, I'll try anything once and I'll take you up on the free offer on that drink. I'm in the same boat as you, my wife wouldn't take to kindly for me to meet up with Ms. Twain even though I wouldn't mind it [:D]. But I thought she was living over in Europe / Switzerland. If this game is ok with you let me know and I'll go ahead and register the game. Good luck

Just how big of a fool do you think that I am? The scenario that you picked historically has the Union as the aggressor but yet the Confederates outnumber the Union on the battlefield. Additionally, the Rebs hold the better ground and the interior lines while the Union center (a whole corps) is fixed and doesn't release for the whole battle. On top of that, you chose the scenario where Longstreet's Corps comes on immediately to add to the Confederate numerical superiority.

Okay, I don't see any problems with it. I haven't played this way before either. I'll send the turn back to you tonight. Bartender, make my next one a double.

Well General Simms I used the E-knee, Me-knee, Mine-knee, Moe method to pick this one. Anyway stop on over to the Chickasaw Bayou and I'll have a whole bottle set aside for you, it was taken from a Union supply wagon at Shiloh. As for the fool, I don't know you and wouldn't stupe so low and to call you such and gentlemen don't call fellow officers such names [:p]. But after the game is over then I might change my mind [:D]
