Gentlemen, <SALUTE> I desperately seek a Yankee opponent who has the stamina to go the distance. I seek an opponent who can make daily moves. I seek an opponent who realizes and can accept the reality that the entire campaign can and should take months to complete. I seek an opponent who can live with the follwing "house rules" regarding infantry units meleeing while in column formation. Infantry units CAN only melee while in column if 1) they are on a bridge, 2) they are in a town or city, and 3) they are on a pike,road, or trail passing through terrain which would normally disrupt them if they were change to line formation (i.e. a marsh). Finally,I seek an opponent who can accept the following optional rules...Manual Defensive Fire,Quality Fire Modifiers,Higher Fatigue Recovery Rates,Victory Points for Leader Casualties,Density Fire Modifier,Mounted Cavalry Skirmishers,Partial Retreats,and Automated Defensive Fire.
