to all Rebel scum,

The First division of the XXth Corp, Army of the Cumberland, seeks a multi-player battle upon the field of HPS Campaign Gettysburg. Mid-sized scenario, I am thinking. We have four players so the Rebels would want something in the neighborhood of 3-5. I await all offers of battle in my command tent...

Respectfully (as one can be with Rebel swine)

Major General Philip A. Roubaud

*A Note: This game is now closed. My thanks to all those who took time to read this modest challange and my compliments to our new opponents.

General Arndt,

Excellent news. Do you think you can gather some more of your fellow Rebels to engage us?

General Arndt,

This sounds good. I will look at the scenarios and see if we can't come up with something...

Gentlemen [:)] and damnyankees,[:o)][:o)][:o)][:o)]

As the ANV has 3 corps, I suggest that the rebels ought to have an overall commander for general strategy, Robt E Lee, and 3 corps commanders, who try to implement his directives with cooperation.

If all concur, I will take a corps, "Pete" Longstreet preferred, and someone competent who has done multiplayer games before should be Lee.

Even dividing the command 4 ways, southern gentlemen [:)][:D][8D][8)] should be able to trounce a bunch of pasty faced mechanics. [:(][:o)][B)][:0]

“Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable, a most sacred right—a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can, may revolutionize, and make their own of so much of the territory as they inhabit.â€

Sir,

You apparently have us confused with the Army of the Potatoes. We are the much feared "Fighting First" of the Army of the Cumberbun. None of us have ever been anywher near a mechanic's shop. I believe that General Danner is the foremost authority on horsedung shoveling in the Ohio River valley...although I might have him confused with another famous dung shoveler, your own Jefferson H. Davis (not to be confused with my Historical counterpart Jefferson C. Davis)
