Sir,

Being fresh from a battle on the Pennisula, I see my old nemisis and able opponent COL Rob Hinkle is in need of a fight. As I do owe him one, I'll be willing to lead the brave, but outnumbered Union troops at Davis bridge.

Your Humble Servant,

Brig Gen Mark E. Wolken
I/Cav/XVI AoT

Sir

Since those Texans stole a victory from the Union in Forward Bucktails, I request permission to try and redeem the federal pride at Newtonia with my nemisis BG Nick Kunz

Respectfully

Sir,
I would like to play the Confederate side of Fredericksburg BGN 32 bit, 76 turns. I already have it downloaded and understand it is the 2 day battle with no fixed units, limited artillery ammo and outnumbered by the Union forces. The South is ready to make a heroic stand around Marye's Heights and surrounding areas.
Regards,

COL. David Ray

I'll offer to lead the glorious Southern army to Prairie Grove. No ultimate preference as to version, but would lean towards the Ozark one as I haven't played it.

Please be advised that I will take the Union beating at Fredericksburg.
As Colonel Ray is a fellow Statesman it should be interesting.

<font face="Andale Mono"><font color="pink">Newtonia Battlefield Report.

Union forces, under the command of BG Frederick Salomon, were threatening an advance on the Rebel forces, under the command of Col D.H. Cooper. Rebel forces attempted several flanking movements but were met by fresh Union reinforcements. A Yankee ambush was uncovered just prior to striking a planned Rebel attack. After much maneuvering and some fighting the battle has end in a Draw, completing the full 11 battle turns.

My hat is off to my esteem opponent, Col (BG promotable) Neil Edwards, for a well managed battle. I escaped with another Draw!

Respectfully submitted,
