Hi guys,

I do not how relevant this is, but I got old Battleground game running on a new computer running Windows 10.

Basically the problem is you cannot run BG_start, but I found I can run BGx executable file (BGN for Antietam BGG for Gettysburg, etc.). This gives you module selection menu; you just pick the one you would like to play, goes both for starting new games and continuing old ones. You are asked to open a .scn file, which you don't want to do so you click "Cancel".

Following this you open "Special" menu and click "Play be E-mail". After this you can either continue old game using "File" & "Open", choosing the .bte file or start a new game by clicking "File" & "New." Starting a new battle is a bit tricky as you only get to choose between .scn files, but after a few trials you can get the right one.

Hope somebody fill find this useful.
