| Post subject: | Four Rebs looking for Yanks for MultiPlayer Atlanta Campaign |
The 3rd Division (Texas Infantry Division) of the III Corps of the Army of Northern Virginia has been detached to march down south and defend Atlanta and the Southern Confederacy from that arsonist, William T Sherman (how LSU could have allowed this firebug to be superintendent of the school is beyond us). Four of us are looking for 3 or 4 yankees to take up the northern side of a full blown HPS Atlanta Campaign (Campaign for Atlanta (Full Version))– all optional rules turned on except Manual Defensive Fire and Optional Melee Resolution (however, we will play with an “embedded melee rule” that will prevent blitzkrieg type attacks). It will be our intention that each of us four Rebels (myself, Jon Thayer, Dan Kirkimilis, and Boyd Denner) will command the same Confederate Corps for the entire campaign (since not all four Corps are present in all battles, at times you may be playing against 2, 3, or 4 of us). Yankees can either play the same way, or command different Union forces in each battle so that all involved are always participating. So is there a yankee team willing to accept this challenge?
