Looking for a Confederate opponent for the 1st Historical Campaign in HPSs' Campaign Peninsula. I use all optional rules except for manual defensive fire (MDF). <salutes Maj. Gen. Wagenseller> Sir, I thank you for your response. Please email me at willhart@ymail.com and we will load rifled muskets and cannon and prepare to do battle. If there is another campaign within Campaign Peninsula you would prefer to play or a particular scenario, I am amenable to your suggestions. I would like to use all optional rules with the exception of Manual Defensive Fire (MDF) but I am flexible and would acquiesce to your suggestions on this matter. I live in Northern Virginia and have walked some of the local battlefields (Manassas, Antietam, Gettysburg among others). However, I have not studied the Peninsula campaign to any detail and figured this game would be a good introduction to this period of the Civil War. I have not played any of the campaign games or scenarios against a live opponent so I look forward to hearing from you. I am your servant, 1st. Lt. Billy Hart 6/3/I Army of the Potomac |

Suh, I am extremely happy to receive you email. With regard to optional rules, I prefer the following exceptions: 1) Manual Defensive fire 2) Limiting Routing 3) Weak Zone of Control If this is not okay with you, I am not married to them. Regarding the battlefield, I truly have no preference, although I do not like to play alternative battles because I too want to study the battles. If you wish I can pick a field upon which we can meet. As we are going to play Fog of War, do you prefer to view the initial set-up of the force |
