The preamble: I am looking for an honorable reb player to trade musket/rifle fire with. My play history with short scenarios has been good, while I've been less than honorable (deserted longer length games) for longer scenarios
. Which leads to the predicament of...I would like to engage in a campaign in either Gettysburg, Chancellorsville, Antietam, or Atlanta. So if there is a brave reb soul out there, or perhaps half mad... And yes what I am seeking is somewhat counter intuitive, but that's why I seek a brave and honorable reb. And after your sound defeat, I promise to release you back to your wives and children. We haven't the proper facilities to take you all prisoner! Sorry! umm, guess that last line is from the wrong war era but it fits...I would prefer to play with the following optional rules (but am flexible and open to suggestions - exception being higher disrupted movement and higher fatigue recovery --sorry units are blitzy enough as is---):
-automated defensive fire (that's kind of standard i think)
-quality fire modifiers
-quality melee modifier
-weak zone of control
-night movement fatigue
-optional melee resolution
-alternate fixed unit release
-partial retreats
-flank morale modifier
-full melee defensive fire
-bridge limit and repair
-artillery retire by prolonge
-artillery ammo by cannon
