Mid tier colonel seeks a “little” Overland. For a while, I have stared at that 1,300 turn monster and said, “someday”. I am looking for an opponent to try a “little”. I want to play a few hundred turns to see how it plays and understand it. Ideally, I would like to bump into two scraps, a Wilderness and a Spotsylvania. But I am not sure exactly when that end point is. It might come sooner within the first 100 turns, it might occur later in North Anna or Cold Harbor. How about a "few hundred turns" with the guy who wrote the scenario? We have an MP about 12 turns underway, and we are still looking for Union officers. People are free to come and go from this MP at will, so just try it and see if it fits. how does an Officer obtain this Overland campaign? what is some of the history of it? i might be interested in obtaining it. |
