I have designed a couple games that I think would be good for MP play, One is called Apple Pie Ridge and is played on Gettysburg with the Winchester map. It's a full army vs army fight designed for four players, of course it can be played with any number of players desired. I think I could come up with a union team if their were any rebs who would be interested. If you would like a copy of the game email me and i'll send you the file.

The other, Waylaid at Allatoona, is based on the Atlanta game. Based on a hypothetical situation; The south with a beefed up army is defending the Etowah river line in front of Allatoona. It opens with The Army of Ohio which has crossed the river doing a flank movement about to get ambushed. I think this was one of the better defensive positions Johnson could have used to delay Sherman's advance against Atlanta. I have played this game a few times on a one on one bases I designed it for 2 vs 2 play. Have not got that deep into it as I have been play testing and refining. Think it is about ready if any one is interested. If any body would like a copy of the game let me know and i'll send you the files.

Of course I would be up for playing either one any side team play or not. ernief950@aol.com

Hello Ernie,

Your new scenarios sound pretty good. I would be glad to participate in an MP game. I too would be glad to play either side. Let me know if you get anything together.

General Fantini <Salute>,

Your work on Apple Pie Ridge sounds most interesting. Presently I am involved deeply with a 4x4 MP with 1,390 possible turns. We have been playing for almost a year and are on turn #134. To explain more than that would take much more time than each of us can afford. The fight mentioned above is my only ongoing effort and I would be interested in another. Please send me a copy to study. I shall see if I may locate some boys in gray that are interested in putting a stout stick to the back side of a few Blue Dogs.

General,

My multiplayer proposal has crashed and burned as the software is now too snarled by safety features to work. I would love to get involved in a multiplayer Apple Pie Ridge, if possible.

I'm at jstrickler@sc.rr.com

Sincerely,

Colonel Strickler
