Post subject:  Opponent for HPS Peninsula custom scenario

I'm looking for an opponent for a custom scenario of the Battle of Kernstown on HPS Peninsula. It's a historical 25 turn scenario and I'm willing to play either side so Yank or Rebel doesn't really matter to me.

If anyone else is interested in a small Kernstown scenario for Peninsula.

01. 16 Turns
(Historical, sectional artillery, weather effects) Major General "Stonewall" Jackson approaches Winchester with 3000 troops after reports that Union forces are leaving the Shenandoah Valley and have left a "token force" of a few regiments at Winchester. Jackson is determined to strike there and prevent Union forces from leaving the Valley to reinforce McClellan's campaign against Richmond. Jackson arrives and deploys to attack what he believes are a few isolated regiments. Unknown to Jackson, Turner Ashby has spent the morning skirmishing with a large Union force just south of Winchester. This is no token force, it is the 6000 man division of Brigadier General James Shields. Colonel Nathan Kimball is in command after Shields was wounded in fighting with Ashby's cavalry on the previous day. Kimball has pushed Ashby south beyond Kernstown during the morning's skirmishing but remains unsure of the Confederate force in front of him.

02. 11 Turns
(Historical, sectional artillery, weather) Jackson's initial attack is repulsed by the Union guns on Pritchard's Hill. He positions artillery on Sandy Ridge to support an attack on the Union right. Jackson remains unaware of the size of the Union force he is attacking. Kimball realizes the threat from the Sandy Ridge position. He prepares to attack with the brigade of Erastus B. Tyler supported by his available cavalry to turn the left of the Confederates.

Both scenarios are on the small side. I'll play either side, you can reach me at musketoon72atgmaildotcom .
