| Post subject: | WDS ACW Series - Favorite Turn Format Poll |
This poll is about which "turn format" you prefer. There is a growing trend for some to revert to the original multi-phase play format. Then there are those of us that feel that the Single or Dual Phase is better. I am curious to find out how many of the members like the older mulit-phase format, how many like the Single Phase format and how many like the "Dual Phase" format, that is with the Optional Melee Resolution (OPR) rule ON. No format is better than the other. Its all a matter of personal preference. If you have the time to do six emails per turn then the Multi-Phase format works. If you do not like small units in your way when you are marching down a road then the Single Phase works. If on the other hand you want one player "phase" but to have melee at the END then Dual Phase is your thing. I did not add in if you want the Full Melee Defensive Fire option ON or OFF as I think most of us that like a full volley at the attacking units, prior to melee resolution, have it ON. I will let the Poll run through all of July and then it will be closed. |

Thanks for all the participated in the poll. While I was disappointed that so few participated, it serves as a point of reference for seeing which format of play is used by the majority. |
