I was at this past Ohio Valley History Conference presenting a paper on the New Jersey Militia during the Revolution and picked up two books Decisions at Chattanooga and Decision at Chickamauga. Both are from the University of Tennessee Press, seems to be a series. So far I find them an interesting read. They are centering on "Critical Decisions that Defined the Battle". |

And I enjoyed Edwin Coddington's book on the Battle of Gettysburg which went into great detail on the decisions by both Union and Confederate leaders during the course of the days leading up to the battle and that of the four crucial days in July that decided the fate of the Eastern Theater. |
