This book ranks high on my list of must reads. I really enjoyed the tempo of the book..........hard to put down. In this the 150 aniversary of the American Civil War, somebody has to step up and make this into a movie or mini series. Its all there.......Lee....Grant....Lincoln.....the death of Hill, Stuart and Lincoln. The final chapter on the story of Chamberlain. The life long friendship of Longstreet and Grant. If S.Spielburg can make make a major motion picture about a horse in WWI and make money, why can't someone take this property and do the same. |
