American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

To my old comrades and new comrades to come, I would like to say how pleased I am to announce that after a lengthy retirement I have rejoined the AotP and will shortly be getting back into the swing of things, albeit a little slowly for now. In the time that I have been away, I have been heavily engaged in the world of community theater as an actor (which I've been doing for the past 30 years) and for the past 5 1/2 years in the role of Papa, to my grandson. But I have missed you all and the excitement of the gaming and am happy to be an active member of the ACWGC once again.

During the time I was in retirement, I had an unfortunate mishap with my computer and lost all of the email addresses I had for the friends from the club, which left me without means to contact any of you. I look forward to renewing old acquaintances and hope my old friends will email me so I can get them into my address book again. I salute you all!!

Major General Spitz's credentials as a tried and true Union Officer are impeccable, and we are glad to have him return to our active ranks in the field, once again lending his sword to the repression of this Rebellion!

Am I to understand that the Confederacy is so suffering from a want of manpower that it has agents hanging outside our War Department to shang-hi our personnel? If so, perhaps it is time for a serious consideration of your surrender!
