Let's take a check on who's still active, newly active or wants to be active with the Battleground Series in either the old Talonsoft version or the newer Matrix version! After you place your vote in the poll, give us your thoughts about seeing more Club sponsored activity (tournaments and such) in the Battleground series. (You'll have to log in to both vote and/or see the poll results!)

I can play either, it is easier for me to play the Matrix Versions though as to play the Talonsoft, got to find the CD's and then crank up the old XP machine... :)

I do like them a lot, but have been playing more HPS over the years. A tournament would be nice, but my schedule wouldn't allow me to participate.

So far only 22 of you have voted within the poll! That's a paltry number. If you need to refresh your access terms to the forum to be able to cast your vote, whether you be Yank or Reb, please don't hesitate to e-mail me!

Well a lot maybe don't vote because another option is missing:
"Never played a Battleground game."
Personally the series didn't show on my radar ever and I only got some infos about it as I was getting into the HPS/JTS games.

Yes but only talonsoft

When I first started that was the only games I played

Now I only play hps versions. I would however play them again if I had the time to load and update them all

I play the Matrix versions, but I am familiar with the Talonsoft ones because of the mods I use on the Napoleonic games, with all the battles available through the Napoleon in Russia project. Those are amazing. I also really appreciate the battles available from the Cartography office. The favorite thing to me about the Battleground versions is my preference of the map and 3D unit images. For me, I can find my fill of BG games though opponent finder and individual matches.

They were great games but I'm now totally committed to HPS. I would be interested in a tournament.
