I know that this topic has been talked about in the past and that there've been a few mentions made of it since, but I'd like to bring it up again for clarification...not only for myself but for all of our newer members.

As I understand it the replay speed of an opponent's turn may be increased or decreased by the use of the F5 (slower), F6 (normal) and F7 (faster) keys during the actual playback; that is, you can change the speed of the replay as it is happening. Is that correct? I've grown accustomed to the current speed of my replays over the years, not having played around with this, but I'm also reluctant (make that anal) to experiment for fear that I may corrupt something in the game file.

(As a geezer-in-training I have many moments of unbridled conservatism!)

Also, I notice that under the Modes pull-down menu that there is a RESTART REPLAY selection. However, this does not apply to the replaying of an individual game turn, but to an entire recorded battle, if the RECORD BATTLE selection has been activated. Is that also correct? And if that is correct, the only way to replay an opponent's turn, then, would be to completely reload the game turn file!

The CW manual is wrong here, what the Napi manual states is correct:
F5 – slow the speed of the A/I processing.
F6 – return A/I processing to normal speed.
F7 – increase the speed of the A/I processing.
These are only there to speed up the processing of A/I actions, it doesn't have impact on a human PBEM replay.

OK, great! We can put that one to rest. There is no way to change the speed of an opponent's turn replay in a PBEM game by using the F5, F6 and F7 keys.
