Dusty old Confederate General walks in looks at Yankee officers gathered takes off his gauntlets and tosses them in the middle of the room. "Any of you blue bellies have the guts to meet my forces at Wilson's Creek (historical scenario rules to be discussed)? Snaps to attention and renders a salute, does an about face and walks out, mounts his horse and rides away.

Hey, I found a brand new pair of gauntlets! They are slightly gray, but still usable, but I can't bend over to pick them up right now. I am in the throws of "demon" drink.

That was my weak attempt at humor in NOT picking up the gauntlet; it was not accepting to play. Sorry
