Fellow Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to announce, after a close election, Lt. Gen. Matt Perrenod as the new USA Cabinet secretary replacing Secretary Sean Reynolds. Let’s all congratulate him and wish him the best success in his new duties. We will get him onboard and squared away over the next few days. I would also like to thank Major General Tony Best for his interest in the secretary position and his obvious dedication to the club. I am sure there will be other opportunities for General Best to contribute to the club.

As well lest we not forget the long and dedicated tenure of Secretary Sean Reynolds, he has contributed greatly to the club and we wish him the best, as well, in any role he assumes within the USA organization. We will miss him in the Cabinet.

A big thank you for all that have participated in the election process.

I wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year.

Long live the ACWGC.

General Pierre D.
ACWGC President

I can't bring myself to "huzzah" anyone, as that's a Unionist affectation. So please accept a hearty Rebel yell for both Matt and Sean, as well as for Tony. Much as it grieves me to say so, there are some pretty impressive people wearing blue around here. [:)]

My hat's off to Tony, who set an excellent example for all of us, I think, on how to approach this campaigning thing. And a salute to Gen. Reynolds as he leaves his "civilian" service and heads back to battle.
