Gentlemen,

I have been given the go ahead by General Zapp to announce a new AoG forum and the end of these bravenet forums. Yes, no more pop-up ads, adware, or spyware. For now there will be one forum BUT there is plenty of room for each Corps to have its own forum within the new one should ya'll desire. Please bookmark this page as the new home of "The Prancing Pony Inn".

Btw, you will need to register in order to use the new forums.

General Smith,

Will guests eventually be able to post at the Prancing Pony, or will it be reserved for AoG officers?

Also, are you interested in opening the Intel center to fellow CSA officers?

Your humble servant,

Gentlemen from the South are always welcomed at Prancing Pony.

There may be certain requirements that need attention, but, I have full and abiding faith that Major General Smith, will have anticipated these requests, and is already implementing the required tasks to complete them.

(Wink to Mike...)

I see no immediate problems with sharing Intel, but, It is my opinion it should be done at the 'Southern Raiders' where ALL CSA may view and comment, without the additional administrative requirements of remembering another password.

Maj. Gen. Mark W. Zapp

Sir(s),

In answer to DW's question anyone can register for an account even dastardly yankee folks :-)

As to the "Intel" section....When putting together the forum I thought it would be nice to have a local center for such matters (Gen. Hill had provided some wonderful material for the III Corps forum) but it, the forum, can be set up however ya'll like. I have no set plan here except to make it as functional as possible and something that will help bring folks together. I wasn't sure what folks would like to see thus the current setup. If ya'll would prefer to not have the "Intel" section thats fine. If you'd prefer something else there thats fine too or we could just run with the "General Discussion" and "AAR" sections. Again, this is for the members so whatever ya'll want we'll go with.

Currently there are only two moderators but we can spread that out if others are interested so that should something happen to one person all the password details are preserved. Finally, I covet ya'lls feedback on this so please feel free to make suggestions, constructive criticism, etc. Best wishes,

Maj.Gen. Mike Smith

Gentlemen,

The Confederate War College has an area for sharing intelligencia that is moderated and password protected... and could use some contributions! Links are in the Southern Raiders.

God bless <><
