Gents; after playing against the ever capable AI (Geez I even managed to beat the army of cumberland by the remnants of Hoods Army in the 1864) I decided to join the ACWC for some real action. Currently I am receiving training from skilful commanders of the confederacy and eager to be part of the Grey boys. I see some old friends' names here too. Just wanted to say hello at the moment and good gaming of course.

Best
Oz

Cadet Budak,
Welcome to the club I am glad you are enjoying your training at VMI.

Please use your Rank and unit as signature when you post on the boards. In your case:

That will suffice until you are in a real unit.

Cadet Budak:

It was a real pleasure to see your post here. I hope you enjoy your time here as I have.

Yanks:

You guys had better look out for this guy. I am not sure what he knows about the American Civil War, but he is one of best WW II operational commanders I have faced.

Going to be a REBEL??

Not good! They have no shoes, no ammo, no horses and really, really ugly wimmen! They do have a lot of tobacco, though.

Good luck and good to see you.[:D]

Your name sounds familiar - I think I recall you from www.theblitz.org a couple years ago? Here they have a "Smoking Room" message board similar to the "Current Events" one that used to be over there.
Welcome aboard and maybe see you on a pbem battlefield some time. Salute sir! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome gents;

Well Jeff, thanks for your kind words but I didnt feel as one while trying to find my way in the desert with your boys on my heels in our latest encounter [;)]

Ernie, I have been fighting against the Yanks for a long time; in the jungles of Indochina; in the snowy fields of Belgium; through the ashes of the desolate desert villages; I am quite used to lack of equipment [;)]

Nik, We always seem to be on different sides. No complain since that gives me a fair and skilful enemy.

Scott, I too remember your nick from the Blitz. Btw I am a member of the SB ladder there. I am also a proud 5 year member of the PCC. Furthermore I am working (well not at the moment due to real life schedule)for a design them called TFE4 in the SB community ( http://www.wargamer.com/hosted/squadbattles/ ) along with Jeff.

Niiiicceee, new meat for the Yankee grinder. [:D][:D][:D] Welcome to the ACWGC. If you let it, this club can become much more than a ladder.

You forgot, they also have a rather tremendous lack of teeth! [:0]
