Ah... That sounds like a great game! [:)] Perryville... Stones River... Chickamauga... Chattanooga... Looking forward to it!

But now it is perhaps time for some campaigns of the Eastern Theater? [:D]

After this game the Eastern Theater is about all that's left to cover.

Halelujah! This is the one I've been hoping for, but I expected it to be in multiple games, not all of those campaigns in a single disk. This will be awesome. I've long contended that these campaigns offered the best chance for even battles and campaigns given the army sizes, etc. I guess now we'll find out.

Makes me almost wish I hadn't just bought Atlanta... who am I kidding, I'd get 'em both anyway! [:D]

I am afraid that the Wargamer jumped the gun and HPS has pulled the plug on the article! It was suppose to be unvailed at the start of Tiller Con II, opps!

Basically, the article just outlined the overall features: All the latest updates/patches from the other games will be there (weather, cavalry skirmishers, artillery capture, spiking, retire by prolongue, etc.) And the game will cover everything from the Summer of 1862 invasion of Kentucky by Bragg all the way to Chatanooga in Winter 1863 if I read it correctly - so basically an 18-month campaign for the entire Kentucky/Tennessee theater, which is amazing. Perryville, Mill Springs, Murfeesboro, Chickamauga, Chatanooga - all of those battles will be there with campaign options around them. Sounds to me like it could be the best HPS title yet. [:D]

I wondered if that was the case, since this is not the "typical" release timeframe...

When she sees the mail and asks you "What the heck is this?", just tell her it's the last part of the order you made a couple months ago. It was on backorder, get it?
