Gents,
Of the two new titles from HPS, which would be the better of the two. Can only talk the Admiral into one at this time[:(] Thanks for the input.

Well, since only the folks at TillerCon can say they've SEEN Chickamauga at this point, tough to vote. I'm enjoying Atlanta so far, but I'm drooling to get my hands on Chickamauga next week when it starts shipping...

Good luck with your choice - I don't think you can make a bad one![;)]

It's a bit early to say much about Chick yet, as it's so new, but realize, that if you're looking for "bang for your buck", Chick is something special.

Perryville
Murfreesboro
Chickamauga
Chattanooga/Lookout Mountain

Four fairly signifigant battles.

Now, I'm not positive, but I think Atlanta has more total scenarios when you look at the way the Campaign runs, but even so, Chick is an outstanding bargain.

Oh, by the way, at least on Murfs, I imagine y'all will be like me and looking at the map sideways for awhile *L* Just like the other games, this map is oriented true N-S, so all your old familiar landmarks are in very different places!

Gary,

I know what you mean. I'm still google-eyed at Gettysburg trying to right myself with the maps after so long with Talonsoft...

Rich,

I was hoping this was your post wanting to know which NEXT game you were gonna release by Father's Day. [:D]

For the record, mine would be the 1862 campaign/Antietam.

General Oakford,

You think YOU got it bad? While I was at Tiller Con, I was able to sweet-talk my wife into letting me buy both Atlanta and Chick (letting her have three days to wander around the shops of Crown Center paid off [:D]). Unfortunately, she promptly slipped both games into her suitcase, saying something about 'Now I know what to get you for Father's Day and your birthday!'.

The guys who stayed home and ordered theirs via Pony Express are STILL apt to get their copies before me [V] .

Of course, I DID get to play around with the new games, as Rich Hamilton & company had them loaded on all the machines we were playing with [:o)] .

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory
