I decided to reinstall my old Battleground Bull Run game.
I download the Patch and installed it. Then I downloaded the 32 bit patch and unziped it. But when I load the game I still get the older version. The 32 bid is not active as the bar is still over to the side and not at the top. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the upgrade process went well. When you open the game, currently, is it version 1.02 (Talonsoft).

If so, then make SURE you place the 32 Bit upgrade into the main BGBR game folder, then UNZIP it. It should overwrite the older files.

Make sure your shortcut points to the correct FOLDER.

Well the process appears to have when well. On both patchs. I can't get it to tell me what verson it is running but I am sure it is the wrong one. The cwedit is in the main folder and so is the other patch. How can I get it to tell me the verson. I have right clicked on the files but all I get is the general and Compatablity, and summary. No verson comes up on any of them and it does not show up while loading or after it loads. ??

If the game loads go to the Help menu at the top then click on About. This will tell you what version you are patched to, mine shows Ver 2.02.

OK it is showing version 1.02 so the patch is not taking. Now I put it in the main folder and double click and it runs the little program and appears to be taking but I am missing something or its just not taking it for some reason.

Could it have anything to do with me not putting it on C drive?? I have two drives and put this one on D drive. I just installed D drive a few weeks ago and have not had any problems with other games I put on it. But since this is an old game it may be programed just for C ??? you think ???

Ok Thanks Guys that must have been the problem. Once I installed it on C drive it took the updates and now is correct. A heads up if someone else runs into that problem.
