Something doesn't seem quite right about the numbers, ACORN [:0] must of been doing the tallying [:D]. We'll see in December who will have the bragging rights on the Navy / Army game[:p]

4 years in the Navy. Lucked out and scored top in my training school class and got first pick of billet. Ended up getting "cake" duty on a Naval Air Station in Sigonella Sicily. [:D]

Hey Lt. Mathes,
Wow 32 years before the mast, <SALUTE>. But which side of the Captain Mast were you on [:D].served 71 - 97 as a Seabee. And Col Bill we did maintain your A/C barracks and chow hall, but at the same time we were borrowing pallets of beer and sodas from your EM club [:p]

Respectfully,

Gentlemen,

From first station to last here are my Duty sites. And don't get confused with the stations, in my line of work I did quite a bit of time assigned at sister service installations.

Presidio of San Francisco, CA
Beale AFB, CA
US Embassy, Denmark
University of Minnesota, Mn
Fort Sam Houston, TX
Subic Bay Naval Station, Republic of the Phillipines
National Training Center, Ft. Irwin,CA
Ft. Monmouth, NJ
Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy
Ft. Belvoir, VA
Ft. Lee, VA
Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI
Human Resources Command, Alexandria, VA

Four of those places I was the Unit Commander, and now I do assignments. Current Rank is COL/O-6

All Army All the Time.

Your Humble Servant,

Gen. Mark E. Wolken

Mathes,

What have you been doing for the Navy all those years?

I was enlisted, nuke Electronics Technician on fast attack subs out of Pearl Harbor, before getting out, going Reserve, and serving with Explosive Ordnance Disposal where I made Chief and got commissioned as an LDO. Did fleet communications for NCTAMS in Hawaii, then served on staff for Commander 7th Fleet...Retired as a LT earlier this year.
