I have a veteran gamer out there who plays the BG games and is feeling a bit bypassed and as a result has been missing out on the fun. Who out there still plays the BG series? I tried to mine this data from the Records site but kept getting errors. Any help would be appreciated!

Sir <salute>,

I am a veteran gamer of the BG series and am always willing to play. I've got them all as well as the HPS and AGEOD's.

General Hartwig,
Randy,

That is a very interesting question, Sir!

I know I started out playing the BG games and when I returned to the Club in February I purchased the Matrix Games release as I had given away all my original Talonsoft releases.

I've just recently put together the AotM's "King of the Hill" Tourney and was surprised to find how many of our Officer's owned the BG games... and that I had quite a few that ONLY owned the BG games. So to neglect those releases would have a negective impact on the Club.

Perhaps it would be beneficial to establish a page somewhere that lists the players who still own and are actively playing the BG games? Of course, we are all always free to post for opponents for the BG games at the Opponent Finder Forum.

Just some thoughts...

I have all the BG games on my HD and in theory I would play them ... except I don't have room to start something at this time, and whenever I did in the past years people seem determined to play HPS.

General Hartwig:
I play the Talonsoft BG series (own all) on my Vista machine (not Chickamauga). Am available for advice on getting TS games to play on Vista.

I'd be delighted to meet you in any BG title you wish to play. I have the talonsoft games.

General Hartwig,

I own all BG games (all combined in the Matrix release). Since I arrived, I have only fought Southerners. A game with a Union officer would be most welcome.

Gents,
cut my teeth on the TS games, and own all of them. I still prefer them to the HPS games as of now, just too many great memories with the originals.

Sorry to be so late replying to this. I still play the Talonsoft BG games when I can find an opponent.

I own all the Battleground series (as well as all the HPS). I just started a couple of games in BG Shiloh and BG Bull Run, I forgot how much I enjoyed those games. I am always open to any game anytime.
