This is definatly MP.....We'll be needing plenty of folks for both sides once this kicks off.....We have made some excellent design (Programming more or less) progress in the last 24 hours which has made the recruiting engine extremely functional (Past even my original expectaions).....I now have about 90 man hours of work to do to implement fully what we worked out....It may take me a while.....If anyone wants to volunteer for the assignment of providing me with an accurate list of the names of the ships in both Navies, listd by types: Wooden Warships, Trnasports, and Ironclads it would be incorporated into things.....

Al,

Do you want to name the Union Forts that will be in the game?
If so, kindly send me an Excel spreadsheet with the names you wish to see....Example might be "Fort McClellan".....As they are creatd the OOB generator will name them and spit emout on the text file, but it has to have a list to go by.....I figured I'd offer you some input if you desire it.....Keep in mind that I am a Southerner, so if I name them "Fort Yellow Belly" would be first, followed by "Fort Evil Northern Oppresser".....And so on.....

Hank,

Is there an existing spreadsheet of the club's union officers? If so just use that one, maybe start with those members who have served on the cabinet and as army commanders, etc, etc.

Oh and can you rename Richmond, Va to Rogerhulinskyville? It will just make it sweeter to sack! hehehe..[:p]

Al,

I actually meant an at least somewhat Historical names.....lol....For the Rebs I just went into the Leaders list and used their last names....Unless you want to do something else I'll likely do the same....

I'm not to the Yanks yet...Still working on the Rebs half of the recruiting engine but it absolutely works and is now coming along very quickly....

Al,

Some President you'll make! [:(]

If you rename Richmond... Rogerhulinskyville... what the heck are you going to name the smoldering ruins of Washington after we burn it to the ground? [;)]

Really? Al????? Best Deal on what?????? Sounds like you intend on running a house of "Ill Repute" right there out of the White House? Course I guess I shouldn't critisize, that will definatly be a step up in class compared to some Federal Presidents.....

Hmmmmm, well, being as you are running for Yankee President, you might want to rethink that and set up the house of ill reputeand promising the "best deal"......You'll likely get more votes promising that.

Here's an update.....I just finished with the repetitive busy work on the recruiting engine.....While doing that I realized that I can make a far better form for you players to make your waepons upgrades and reinforcements to your commands than just sending you a text file. I intend to start working on designing those today if I get a chance between work appointments.....It should make ease of play and the time required much better.....
