Club Members,
Welcome to the new Army of the Mississippi Forum in the MDT! Feel free to visit often and swap some stories, chalenges, drinks, or just say hello to Nicodemus in the corner. He's the short green gentleman with the sharp teeth for those of you who are unfamiliar with him. Remember to have fun and to put the drinks on the new AC before he arrives to find out what we have done!

Careful Drex! We don't need any overweight Yankee Generals breaking our brand new chairs here. We made the mistake once of letting yall sit down like people. From now on its standing room only at the bar for Yankees [;)]

Gentlemen <salute>

Colonel Strickler, you have done a splendid job getting our new digs organized, and Gator Alley salutes you! Nicodemus gives it a gator claws-up and is fond of his new digs in the corner, particularly the rocking chair provided which accomodates his tail.

I will also post our division site for any interested in visiting.

Don't be to tough on Maj Gen Ringbloom, as he is near as to an honorary Reb[:D] - a small (a pint) Whiskey General?

A Yankee General who is almost an honorary Reb? So we would put him in the same class as a John Pope? Someone who is easy to roll over in battle [:D]

He might roll over after a few too many Whiskeys, but I think in battle it may be a differnt story[8D]

An honorary reb? I was born in Springfield, Mass and the rest of my family was from Minnesota. My great-great grandfather, Edmund Dayton, was in the 36th Wisconsin. He would roll over in his grave. Think of me as the loyal opposition.[:D]

Loyal opposition.... that term has to be thought about for a little while. Wouldn't another word for one who is loyally opposed be "enemy"? But enemy, friend, loyal opposition, or Yankee General you are more than welcome here in the forum. Just mind what I said about the chairs [8D]
