Looks like it is a bit late to have name suggestions for the little chap - JEB, Nathan Bedford or John Bell would have set him up well[:D][:D]

JEB, Nathan Bedford or John Bell would have been child abuse.

General Miller,
Ken,

Congratulations on the recent addition to the family, Sir! <salute>

I heard you were asking for some fine Southern whiskey for the celebration but were running a little low on your stock. (Times have been a bit rough for the AoP lately, eh?) [;)]

No sense waiting to capture some from me... I'll send a barrel over immediately!

<center>Image</center>

I also sent over a few young Ladies to help it serve it up for all your boys! Just be sure your Yanks mind themselves... these ladies is Rebs (see... no shoes) and come packing hardware! [:D]

Warmest Regards,

General Roger Hulinsky

As to the Ladies, I'm sure my officers will be careful around such well equipped females. (and their pistols look dangerous too! [;)] )

Gentlemen,

OBD awards have been made, Monthly Report sent and the AoP webpages updated.

It appears there is a good bit of celebrating to be done this weekend as the AoP ended the 1st quarter with 21 victories against 19 defeats. In adddition the following officers will receive awards.

Brig.Gen. Sandy O’Neil had a 1st Quarter record of 3 victories and 1 draw and won Major Victories and Battlefield Ribbons for Chancellorsville and Gettysburg for those fields and will be awarded the Sheridan Combat Medal

<center>Image</center>

along with his Gettysburg Ribbon
<center>Image</center>

Lt.Gen.Dwight McBride with 10 completed battles in the 1st Quarter will receive the Combat Badge

<center>Image</center>

Lt.Gen. David Groce with 7 completed battles this quarter receives the Combat Badge

<center>Image</center>

and

Col Robert Schroeder with 5 completed battles also receives the Combat Badge.

<center>Image</center>

Lt.Col Steve Beno receives the Murfreesboro Ribbon
<center>Image</center>
for his Major Victory on that field.

When you add in the promotions of Lt.Gen. David Groce and Captain Tim Delaney last month the AoP has a lot to celebrate so I suggest we get started.

Well it appears the latest member of the AoP has picked an excellent time to report in. Gentlemen allow me to present 1st Lt. J.C. Kerr.

Lt. Kerr will be taking command of the 5th Brigade in Gen Oakford's Militia Division.

Captain Delaney, find the lieutenant a seat and introduce him to the rest of the division.

I thought I remembered seeing an Army of the Potomac forum somewhere once upon a time... Place is looking fairly run-down and quiet these days. Well I guess it is a Yankee establishment so that is to be expected [;)]

Just doing a little raiding in Roger's place!

Gentlemen,

OBD awards have been made for April, the AotP webpage updated and the monthly report filed with Gen Laub.

The AotP didn’t have a good month on the battlefield in April, completing only 9 battles against the rebels, with 3 victories and 5 defeats while having 1 drawn battle. For the year the AotP now has 24 victories and 24 defeats in 65 battles.

There were no promotions last month but Maj.Gen. Paul King 1/V having won a major victory at Iuka is hereby awarded the Iuka Ribbon

<center>Image</center>

and Lt.Gen. David Groce V Corps commander, having won a major victory at Savage Station is awarded the Savage Station Ribbon

<center>Image</center>

So belly up to the bar boys, the drinks are on the V Corps.

Hey your Savage Station Ribbon closely resembles the Viet Nam service ribbon, but being color blind and old it looks like this to me. Also your Luka ribbon looks alot like the Navy's Antarctica service ribbon in which I have one of each of the above

Respectfully,

The colors are very close but the pattern is not similar at all.

Gentlemen,

Unfortunately with the loss of my access to the acwgc.org site the AotP website cannot be updated and the AotP page will be down until I can convert it to html as it used Cold Fusion and a database which is not supported by my other website location so I will post the monthly report here.

The AotP did have a winning record in May with 6 victories against 5 defeats.

Lt. Col. Steve Beno, 5/2/I won a Major Victory at Chickmaugua and is hereby awarded the Chickamaugua Battlefield Ribbon

<center>
Image
</center>

Lt. Mark Johnson 3/3/II posted his first victory in May and Lt. Joseph Kerr 5/3/II had 2 victories last month, meanwhile Col. Robert Schroeder, 3/3/V and Brig. Gen. William Drakert, 3/1/V each had one.

Perhaps the I Corps should buy a round for their fellow officers for carrying the fight to the rebels.[:)]

My compliments to Lt. Col. Steve Beno. It was me he whipped... again... at Chickamauga. He is a solid officer and a gentleman. Really much too good to be a Yankee - but then he did used to be a Reb so I guess we taught him all he knows. [:)]
