News reports fro the Northern frontiers of our brave Confederacy tell of a heretofore almost unthinkable event in the history of our country which supposedly happened just this past friday night.....

It seems some of our troops actually broke and ran in panic from a Union assault. Survivors said the Union troops "had a look on their faces" that they couldn't recall having seen before. They also reported the Unionist as making "flirtatous catcalls" that they are now calling the fearsome "Yankee yell". It along with the glint in the Yankee troops eyes totally unerved and dispersed our troops.

Our troops did manage to withdraw in a rather disordered manner with no casualties other than a few young slave boys who were completely overwhelmed by the Union troops. Later reports claim those Union troops had their coffee substituted with another drink at their evening meal......Something called "Magic Power Coffee".....I hope this was a mistake and not some diablical Union plot to enhnce the natural tendencies of their troops......only time will tell and I am one concerned Southerner. Col. Babb,

Should I assume that you actually did a computer search for "Magic Power Coffee" and got some results? LOL.....

I think it's time to envade the north. Half their army will be dead or incapacitated due to heart attacks or low blood pressure. Another quarter will be out chasing women. The remainder will desert when they find out what happens if it stays hard more than four hours.[xx(][xx(][xx(]

Captain! Get that private off that horse. Tell him if he wants to chase something point him in the direction of those rebs. Tell him to pull his britches up first or they will know what's up.[:I][:p][:D]

Bill,

It apparently is historical when the Yanks are yelling "Deliverance" as they charge and have replaced their buglers with dueling banjos.....

Just my 2 cents but I think this entire post is in bad taste. I expected that we were above such crudeness. I don't want to set myself up as the thought police but I don't this this type of humor should have a place here.
