Would there be a way to program a random battle generator? I also saw in an earlier posting someone asking for "Bull Run to Appamatox Courthouse" I realize this was a light hearted post, but could a master disk with all the maps and all the OOBs on it be produced and if so would that be a way with an editor to produce such a campaign?

I don't think HPS would go for that idea. All the other games would be obsolete.

The only reason we can continue to make these games is due to the sales of all the other games.

On the other hand...

What if a complete ACW was delivered, then move on to other wars with the 'perfect' game engine?

Then you'd have to push to keep electing republicans to fight new wars or you'd still run out! [;)]

Just wanted to bump this one up again - The release of Chickamauga basically hit the nail on the head for "Market Desires" on next title released...

How about adding some scen. that include Sherman's march up through the Carolinas and add the possible use of pontoon boat bridges. Saw a program on the History Channel that showed that Sherman's engineers built wooden pontoon boat bridges and also canvas boats used to build pontoon boats. Being a retired Seabee I've built some pontoon bridges myself. Just a thought.

Respectfully,
