Gentlemen,

Forgive me, but I do this so seldom I have forgot how. I am trying to send a ziped file to Hank, but my own computer is blocking it. How do I turn it off? I can not seem to locate teh setting to turn off. Sorry and Thanks.

How do you exchange game turns, that are usually zipped?

But, perhaps the file contains an .EXE file and that is the problem. Whatever you are using for a virus protection program probably screen outgoing mail,as well. There should be an option to turn off that feature.

After you send the mail, change it back. Also, look at your email program that might have APPROVED lists and make sure he is included in your address book.

Its been a couple of years since I did this so it may not work anymore, but attach your zipped file to a Word document and send it. Used to, security couldn't detect the exe file with it buried that deep.

Dear Ned,

Nope did not work. My security package caught it in the word document.

Gentlemen,

I found it.. Burried deep in the McAfee control screen. Need the help menue on the scan results window to track it down. Right click the big red M, select options, advanced, email, outbound scans off. Then restart Outlook express. and off it went. Let me know if you recieved the file Hank......

Any one else want the Game "American Civil War III, from Sumter to Appomattox"? While I am At it.....
