Gentlemen officers of the club:

The UMA has won the Loving Cup of the Lieutenant's Cup for the first time this past quarter!

While this a great honor for our UMA graduates it is really a tribute to all of the junior officers of both the Union and CSA armies that have volunteered to compete in this challenge and it is those officers that have made this competition a success so far.

So while I give a special salute to the UMA graduates that posted victories this past quarter it is also a salute to all officers that have participated.

SALUTE!

The Loving Cup will be displayed at the UMA site for this quarter in the near future as well.

My congratulations to the UMA officers for their victory in the most recent quarter of the Lieutenant's Cup Competition.

I second Lieutenant Colonel van der Hagen's salute to all junior officers who have participated, or are currently engaged in battle on behalf of their academy. The competition is a success only because of their sense of honor and dedication.
