V corps of the AotP went undefeated in the month of July. Handing the butternut rabble 4 major and 4 minor defeats, and also logging 2 draws.

That is something to crow about. Has it been done before by any other Corps?

I'm sure we are not the first, but we are the latest.

David I struggle to see your point, the V Corps were whipped soundly at the bar if I remember rightly.

Thats only because we were so tired from loading and reloading our weapons, I have had to requisition new trigger fingers for some of the lads.

I have not yet started work on the monthly report so I was not aware of the V Corps accomplishment for July. My congratulations to Lt.Gen. Groce and the V Corps for a job well done. :P

As to Gen McOmish's comments, he appears to be confusing the battlefield with the barroom, or perhaps the rebs need to stop at the bar to find the courage to step onto the battlefield.

General Miller the barroom can be a dangerous place for the unwary Unionist. Plus I am more than happy to tank up on plenty of the good stuff before going into battle - not for courage, but so all the wounds don't hurt as much. Anyway it is my job a southern officer to rain on any Union parade I can

Although Genb. McOmish and his rebel rabble may at times be first at the bar, it is the Union who is last standing at the bar.

Drex them is fighting words - however I am unsure of how we set up a drinking tournament in cyber space. It may have to be a post and boast contest
