Ladies and Gentlemen of Both Armies:

Since I have not heard from Gen. Pat Carroll concerning his position as Commandant of VMI and I removing him from that post. I have the honor to announce that the World's Greatest VMI Commandant has agreed to take over his old post again.

Please welcome back to VMI, General Nick Kunz.

Thanks Nick for stepping forward...Looking forward to your leadership again.

"Any people, anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable and most sacred right - a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world. Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Any portion of such people, that can may revolutionize and make their own of so many of the territory as they inhabit."

I hope all is well with Pat.

BAAAAAADDDDDD! News for the Union. With Gen Kunz at the helm, well, let's just say: "Ya'll have fun."

Well done Suh <salute> The are right calling you Mr CSA, your commitment to the CSA and our Club cannot be questioned. Do stop by the newly opened AoA Tavern and I shall get you roaring drunk, no better way to kick off.

General Kunz,

As always thanks for taking back the reins of VMI, you are always there when needed no matter where the need arises, the CSA and the entire Club is indebted to you for all you have and continue to do! <SALUTE> Suh!

I also hope all is well with Pat and his family and that he will be able to return in the near future.

Gentlemen! <salute>

Ah shucks, did I ever really leave those hallowed halls?

General Kunz <salute>

Suh, VMI is certainly in good hands with your return! Serving under you during your last tenure was an enjoyable experience and I only wish there were time available to offer my services now.

Now where have I heard that Kunz name before?!!!

I suppose this means that we'll have to be careful, again, of offering newly graduated Reb lieutenants a congratulatory drink in our taverns. The last time a "Kunz Graduate" sauntered in for a shot of Yankee whiskey, we wound up missing four bottles! (Not that we really minded it so much, as we had pilfered those bottles ourselves from McOmish's saddlebags as he was administering to his hangover in the horse trough back of the Old Abe Tavern!)

I can just hear the classroom drill refrains echoing around VMI's halls now! "Pour, Click! Pour, Click!"...or How To Move, Fire and Drink All At the Same Time!
