I would like to do a battle on any TS BG map of 30 turns or more. Prefer to do 2 iterations of same battle with switch in sides if possible.

Also a general question: Can Confederates play Confederates and Union play Union if no other opponents accept the challenges, etc?

You can play in any manner you want, BUT a game between two Confederates would be considered a maneuver, which only means a slight decrease in points.

However, in a game with a Rebel officer vs a Union officer, then you may play EITHER side and it is considered a BATTLE. So, you could play as the Union and your opponent play as the Confederates and full points are awarded.

The point difference, in the long run, is not all that important, between maneuvers and battles.

General Sands,
Thank you for the response, sir. I may be forced to rely on maneuvers as it appears there are no Union officers or gentleman available for a duel of honor and military prowess.

They are around. Many are busily engaged in putting down this rebellion. :P

Lt Busey -

I'd like a maneuver in the environs of Gettysburg, if you please. I think we'll not have any luck finding any opponents for battles, so if you'd care to test your abilities with a comrade, I'd like to fight the full historical battle (Scenario #13h), either side, all optional rules 'on'. Should you wish to try your hand at defense, I'm sending the opening move to you. If you wish to attack, just begin the fight with everything checked, and send it in reply to my mail.

Should you wish to select another opponent, no harm done and no offense taken, and I wish you all fortune in your martial career.

Regards,
