Does HPS have any plans to add the Wilderness campaign to the fold? That seems to be the last major campaign left unexplored.

What other new Civil War games have caught someone's attention?

I think Matrix Games is working on "Brother against Brother" based on the FoF engine. don't know how far along it is though.

Assuming that you are meaning within the Civil War Battles series. HPS, no. JTS has titles being developed as had been posted in here by I think Mr Walker. I think per his count as posted in here about at the time that Chancellorsville was released, was that there are 3 titles currently under development (although I wasn't clear if that figure included Chancellorsville or not -since I am not exactly sure if he wrote that slightly before or after Chancellorsville had been released.

I have no information that any of JTS' plans regarding this series have changed since Mr Walker made his post way back when.

:)

I have found that SPWAW Depot has a Civil War mod. It is not perfect since the hard-coded part of the game prevents some changes but it is a tactical turn-based game. As soon as I check it out, I will give some further reports.

I did forget the Red River Campaign, but from a Union viewpoint, that is not a battle I would wish to fight!

The sad story can be found here:

One coming soon. And yes, three coming in total. Assuming these projects are completed.

It's not Red River, and it's not my design. But it has been asked about in the past. I'm sure you'll like it.

Being in Louisiana, I would like to see the Red River Campaign, and for you yanks, it wasn't all one sided. After the fight at Pleasant Hill, Kirby Smith took half of Taylor's forces away from him, so he couldn't stop the yankee army anywhere as they went back to Baton Rouge. There were several fights along the way, such as Monette's Ferry, Yellow Bayou, and including the burning of Alexandria. Then the Baily's dam thing and lots of naval action (yankee navy versus land based artillery).

I'd like to see Jackson's Valley Campaign looked at. Think it'd be interesting...
