Gentlemen of the Techanical Bent.

Could someone elucidate for Me the fundementals of the Command Radius please.

Recently in a scenario, I had an entire Corps procede through 40 Turns - an entire Civil War Day - within the Command Radius of their CC - yet they remained detached, continuously, every single turn. I believe there was corruption in the file and a few kind souls agree with me. The Corps came onto the map - lost contact with their CC and never re-gained it . . . the corruption occured during the brief spell they were out of CR.

I am now playing another scenario and find that the vast majority of two CSA Wings are NOT responding to CR. A Brigade is designated as 'Detached' and the following Turn - they're still detached, even as their Commander gets closer to them.

Again, this is a scenario where Units arrive out of CR and as they concentrate, more of them should fall into CR and things are Hunky in Dixieland. NOT SO!!!!

Is my Horse a Union Horse? Have I picked up a Union pox?

Or should I avoid betting on the Gee Gees and the Dice for an openended period of time?

Or am I missing one of those things that is so simple, Ye don't even remember that it is there to check in the first place?

Many Thankificationary Compliments Gents . . .

Pat.
