OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
ATTENTION TO PARADE!

This parade is called to announce the appointment of Lieutenant General Drex Ringbloom to the command of the Union Army of the Shenandoah, replacing General Rusty Hodgkiss, and to recognize the services performed by each officer in their respective capacities during this past year.

General Rusty Hodgkiss is relieved of his duties as the AotS AC this date and is directed to report to Lieutenant General Ringbloom for re-assignment within that army. He is also tendered the following awards: the Union Army's Outstanding Service Medal and Honorable Service Medal.

For his consistent, abiding and cheerful attention to his duties as the Commander of the Union Army of the Shenandoah, General Rusty Hodgkiss is awarded both the Outstanding Service Medal and the Honorable Service Medal. Under General Hodgkiss’s command the AotS maintained a good record of combat efficiency and activity. His regular reports and performance of his duties imbued the AotS with a sense of stability and continuity. He made thoughtful contributions and demonstrated good understanding of the issues that came before the Union Army Command Staff, always ready to assist the CoA whenever asked. General Hodgkiss, who stepped forward to volunteer his services at a critical time, maintained a viable, trustworthy relation with both his own officers and superiors, his focus clearly centered upon the continued welfare of his command.

These are the General's first such awards!

Lieutenant General Drex Ringbloom will assume command of the Union Army of the Shenandoah effective this date. He is also tendered the following awards for his services as the AotS's Chief of Staff: the Distinguished Service Order and the Honorable Service Medal.

For his constant and exemplary performance as the AotS Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Drex Ringbloom is awarded both the Distinguished Service Order, his second such award, and the Honorable Service Medal, his first such award. General Ringbloom provided the close assistance and technical help to his chief, General Hodgkiss, in the operation and daily administration of the Army of the Shenandoah, in a very successful and immediate manner. Through his diligent and thorough approach he maintained and updated of the AotS website, and always responded in a direct and complete fashion to the issues coming before the Union Army Command Staff. His contribution and involvement to the good order of the AotS has been most gratefully appreciated and regarded with high satisfaction.

OFFICERS OF THE ACWGC UNION ARMY,
Present, ARMS!
Order, ARMS!
Parade, DISMISSED!

Please join me in saluting these fine officers for their volunteered services on our greater behalf!
