I was thinking Elmer Fudd. You have to love these Hancocks Division gents, one even posting "We specialize in whipping Rebs in MP games" when they've yet to win one. They certainly have fine officers, but their official site shows zero anything other than the two MP battles they're engaged in.

Gator Alley officers, on the other hand, have no such boasts included with their signature blocks. They weren't formed as an "elite division" comprised of hand-picked officers, however their record is worthy of some notice:

Gator Ambush: Draw
Gator Pike: Major Victory
Gator Woods: Major Victory
Gator Scrap: Major Victory
Gator Chat: Minor Victory
Gator Oats: Ongoing, currently a Minor Defeat
Gator Klebbe: Ongoing, currently a Minor Victory
Gator Clash: Ongoing, currently a Draw
Elite Gator: Ongoing, currently a Draw

Let Colonel Olinsky parade around in the Confederate gray taken from a fallen trooper. Those Confederate cavalrymen he's been "shooting out of the saddle" have for the most part been with artillery from a distance. He failed to mention the 588 troopers he recently lost after some of our infantry managed to advance undetected within striking range of a couple of his cavalry brigades near Chantilly. I dare say that he'll have a difficult time "whipping" Gator Alley at that pace

highest regards,

Indeed, we have yet to lose one as well, let's just say I have psychotic abilities..

Yes, I am Cajun. My grandparent's surnames are Hebert, Broussard, Guidry, and Daigle, all of whom are descendents of French colonists of Acadie now known as Nova Scotia. My French is practically nonexistant, although it was the first language of all of my grandparents; we weren't politically correct at the time and Americans were expected to speak English. Students of my grandparents' generation were punished for speaking French in school and as a result few of us now speak it.

As for "Gator" being French for "imaginary", I belive you are misinformed. In Cajun French "alligator" is "cocodrie", so your premise is based either on bad information or wishfull thinking. Regardless, the completed battles are available for you to view in the DoR. There is nothing "imaginary" about them; they took their beating and surrendered for the most part.

Highest regards,

Suh, my compliments! I'll simply reply that you have yet to win one either. Gather a couple of victories and then you might have something to boast about. Until that happens you're nothing but a little dog yapping at someone's heels.

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

You know that I am teasing you... though others might not!

But if Hancocks Division is a yappy dog snapping at someone's heels... you must at least compliment us for choosing to snap at the heels of a BIG DOG (the Gator Alley Division) ! <salute>

Suh, that "motley ladies handbag" has sent a number of your fellow Yanks running. Put up, or shut up

Suh, my compliments!

I'm proud of my Cajun heritage and thought I'd just throw it in

I applaud your efforts to assemble a fighting division intent on making a name for itself. I would also agree that Gator Alley is a fine target and would be a feather in your cap if you can pull off a victory. I hope you won't mind if we contest this.

Highest regards to you and your division,

Lt General Blackburn,
Ed,

Don't you recall how I needed to promise the Cajun General a handicap in order to get them to face us on the field of battle?

The whole cavalry incident was a prearranged to give them the 500 point handicap they had asked for. Now the gloves are off... the handicap is delivered and we can actually go to work! :)

Nicodemus is always well fed, usually at the expense of Yankee pack animals who venture too close to the water.

Our infantry hasn't exactly been chasing your cavalry around the map, we simply grew tired of waiting on your infantry and dispatched a force to welcome the cavalry assembled around Chantilly. It also enabled Nicodemus to present the "Southern Slam" to ole' Abe.

Highest regards,

Suh, my compliments!

I believe I was demanding 1000 points, so if you will turn your cavalry around and head back to Chantilly we'll reap whatever we can before night falls

Highest regards,

Lt General Hebert,
Neal,

Fat chance, Sir... I hated losing those cavalry troopers! I'm sure you saw me crying as we beat a hasty retreat over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house! (She was none to happy either!)

I doubt you hated losing those troopers half as much as we enjoyed killing them
