Some of you newer guys probably haven't heard of him but Dusty was one of the first few club members. I remember meeting him at 1st Manassas for a tour back in 1998. Came on his motorcycle.

Played him many times. A fierce CSA opponent!

Anyway, he died on Wednesday. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/washin ... bLoggedOut

Rest In Peace "Dusty".
You sound like a man that I could have a "pop", (or two), with.
The next one raised will be for you.

Dusty Arnold met me in ACW battles at another game site about 14 years ago where I came to know him as an always patient gentleman who guided me through learning to zip and email files. He informed me about the ACW and after about 3 battles, I joined Army of Northern Virginia as a field lieutenant. I feel the loss of his passing.

Gentlemen! <salute>

Dusty was Commandant of VMI when I joined the Club in October 2004. In June of 2005 I ask to become an instructor at VMI and the rest is history. I got to have dinner with Dusty one evening in February of 2006 in Dale City, Virginia. One of the few members I have had the opportunity to meet. He was too young to be passing!

Respectfully,
